How does Eco/Green Design differ from other Decorating Services?
Eco/green design begins just like any other consultation. The difference between the two is that many or most of the product options that are recommended are manufactured using materials that minimize off-gasing and substantially reduce the VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions.
Some products may also be made of renuable and/or environmentally sustainable materials. Others may be locally sourced and such, have less travelling to do to get to their final destination-minimizing the use of fossil fuels. Recycled materials may also be used thereby reducing the amount of waste in our landfills.
