Wind & Water has years of experience specializing in professional interior decorating consultation working with clients to develop a successful, functional, and beautiful solution.
Colour Schemes
Generally take between 1-3 hours. A palette of color is created with large paint samples and left with the client(s) with pertinent information such as; where the paint starts and where it will end, the recommended finish, etc. A colour scheme can include: trim colour(s) and any other element that would be painted such as cabinetry. It is important to note that the palette of colour will reflect the furnishings and other colour references that are in the spaces, unless otherwise stated by client (e.g. purchasing new furniture). If required, a painter can be coordinated.
Product Advice/Selection
Direction and advice is given to clients for flooring, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, furniture, and accessories. Sometimes, clients prefer to meet at a specified supplier for the above mentioned product selection. The suppliers are responsible for measuring, ordering, delivery and installations. If a client does not have a supplier, one can be recommended.

Furniture Arrangement/Placement Recommendations
Recommendations are made for placement of furniture, editing is sometimes recommended to eliminate an over furnished space. At times, during the consultation, furniture is moved and placed to create a more pleasing arrangement; depending on size and weight of pieces.
Window Treatments
During an initial consultation, designs and products are recommended from Wind & Water's premiere drapery suppliers. Another meeting is required at a drapery supplier in order to select product and fabrics as well as confirm a design. The drapery supplier is responsible for the product and for measuring, delivery and installation.
Accessorizing
Recommendations are made with existing pieces on how to create pleasing compositions and vignettes. At times, accessories are recommended. Depending on a client's needs and wants, art work may also be recommended i.e. (style, size, color, framing and matting) as well as how and where to hang existing or future pieces. Art work is not hung by the decorator.
Drafting

New Home Construction Support/Direction
Wind and Water is pleased to provide clients that are building their dream home with support and direction. Building a home is often a stressful and daunting process that requires a myriad of decisions that need to be made in a timely manner. We provide full services or by the hour consultations: whatever best suits an individual client's needs. Wind and Water can work as a bridge and liason between the client and the builder with the result of creating a home that is reflective of the clients taste, lifestyle and budget.
